About Holes:

Stanley Yelnats is under a curse. He was wrongfully accused of stealing a pair of shoes belonging to a famous baseball player, and as punishment he has been sent to Camp Green Lake, a boys' detention center in the middle of the desert. Day in and day out, the boys at Camp Green Lake are forced to dig holes five feet wide and five feet deep, in order to build character. There is no lake at Camp Green Lake, but there sure are a lot of holes, and Stanley quickly discovers there is more going on than character building. What exactly is the warden looking for? Who was Kissin’ Kate Barlow? And when will Stanley and his rotten luck catch a break? Join Stanley and the D-tent boys as they try to dig up the truth.
